Museum reopens for the season with viewing of rarely seen artifacts

A knowledgeable guide will talk about each artifact and weave a story through background documentation, photographs and diary entries. The program is open to all Ellwood House members as well as those interested in becoming members.

“The goal of the program is to bring together both our longtime members and those just signing up for membership for an investigation into the breadth of materials within the collections. We want to make the mansion, its stories and museum collections available to those who want to engage,” Scott Tews, assistant director of the museum, said in a news release. “We’ll highlight certain artifacts
