Museum of Art, Heritage Farm to take part in Museum Day promotion

HUNTINGTON – Two local museums will open their doors free of charge to all Museum Day ticket holders on Saturday, Sept. 22 as part of Smithsonian magazine’s 14th annual Museum Day, during which participating museums emulate the free admission policy at the Smithsonian Institution’s Washington D.C.-based museums.

Participating this year are the Huntington Museum of Art, which is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Heritage Farm Museum and Village, which is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Museum Day represents a nationwide commitment to access, equity and inclusion. More than 250,000 people downloaded tickets for last year’s event,
