Mayborn Museum Complex launches ‘Reach Out’ Program for Under-served

WACO, Texas (Aug. 27, 2017) — Baylor University’s Mayborn Museum Complex is launching a program called “Mayborn Reach Out” to reach new and under-served audiences.

The program will replace “Free Sundays,” which concludes Sept. 3. The new program, effective Oct. 1, includes Community Days, Borrow a Membership and participation in Museums For All to provide visitors of all means access to museum resources.

During Community Days, visitors can explore for free the Harry and Anna Jeanes Discovery Center, natural and cultural history exhibits and the Gov. Bill Vara Daniel Historic village. Those days are Martin Luther King
