smartpass-logo-300-1If you’re a fan of the arts, your library card just got a whole lot more valuable.

The Metropolitan Library Service Agency (MELSA), which covers the eight library systems in the seven-county Twin Cities metro, has announced the smARTpass, which gets cardholders reduced-cost or free tickets to many area arts events at museums, music venues and theaters.

Participating groups include Park Square Theatre, James Sewell Ballet, St. Paul Chamber Orchestra and Minnesota Children’s Museum.
