The Friends of the Rutland Library announced that passes are available for free or discounted admission at: Davis Farmland, Massachusetts State Parks, Old Sturbridge Village, Tower Hill Botanic Garden, Worcester Art Museum and Mystic Aquarium. This program is funded in part from the Rutland Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
The Friends also remind residents that they sponsor collection bins for clothing and books. These are located in the back of the library and the public is encouraged to donate used items here. All funds benefit library programs and materials.
