Fly in a WWII military plane at Yankee Air Museum’s Detroit show

VAN BUREN TOWNSHIP, MI – Ever dreamed of flying on a World War II military transport aircraft?

If so, you’re in luck, because the Yankee Air Museum is offering rides on its 1945 Douglas C-47 Skytrain at a discounted rate during the Detroit Aviation and Airline Collectibles Show on Saturday, May 20.

Kevin Walsh, executive director at the museum, said the event, which is being called “Fly the Pattern,” will let passengers on board the historic plane at $95 a head.
