Child’s memory honored with grant to Virginia Museum of Transportation

ROANOKE (WSLS 10) – Children from low-income families now have a chance to visit the Virginia Museum of Transportation in Roanoke for free.

Wells Fargo has given a grant in the amount of $7,500 to Andrew’s Fund for Children at the VMT.

The fund was established in memory of Andrew Hayes McKeever who loved trains and visiting the museum. He passed away unexpectedly just before his 5th birthday. By underwriting admission, the fund enables more children to enjoy the opportunities that Andrew so enjoyed.
